About Ignite

Ignite is a networking and educational forum welcoming local members of the professional community and students of all ages to our state-of-the-art facilities at the Levin JCC. Through talks and interviews with business and community leaders who have ties to the Durham-Chapel Hill Jewish community, the Jewish Federation hopes to provide a unique venue to promote corporate social responsibility, community building, and continuing education.

    • We’re honored to host North Carolina’s Governor Cooper at the Levin JCC for a unique glimpse into the life of one of the country’s most influential–and controversial–public servants.

    • Wednesday, February 21, 2018, 5:30pm-7:30pm
    • All ages are welcome to listen to Ms. Orender, former President of the WNBA, speak of the many obstacles she’s overcome to become one of the world’s most notable female leaders.

  • …Compassion” with Dr. Ralph Snyderman and Dr. David Zaas
    • Monday, March 12, 2018, 5:30pm-7:30pm
    • Drs. Snyderman and Zaas lead us in a frank discussion on how true and equitable compassion manifests in the medical field and in healthcare.
